Failed to keep up the expectations,AMD ' s
current flagship FX 81x0 processors were well suited for this title.New AMD
flagships are around the corner.They might enter the market by October .They
are expected to provide what current flagship FX 8150 didnt gave.
Previous flagships which had a
module design,means 4 modules of dual core processors were based on a
design odenamed as Bulldozer.They were out matched by intels sandy bridge
and ivy bridge processors,even some i5 chips which are only midsegment
offerings from intel out matched bulldozer and that too on a comparable price
tag.Its from here AMD has to pull things down
New Chips are based on the
already available Trinity design.New core design is coded as VISHERA.There are
may improvements added to the bulldozer core.The slower cache memory which
resulted in severe performance loss will be replaced.L3 cache will be added to
currently available Trinity APU cores to address the increasing performance
needs

Though Bulldozer was based on a new design
there were many areas were it doesn't even matched the performance levels of
previous AMD flagship Thuban cores.Vishera will have to address thi issues
too.AMD ,after the golden era of Athlon xp/64 is now looking forward to vishera
cores
Apart from slow memories many other design issues in bulldozer are expected to
be addressed in Vishera.
A performance bump of 15- 20 % from Bulldozer
clocking at the same clock rate is expected .And with the more power efficient
design of trinity core a clock speed jump of 10% will be achievable.We can Hope
for a good performer from AMD
